Island E-Tickets
Branding, UI/UX

  • About

For this project, I redesigned Island E‑Tickets, a Caribbean-based ticketing platform for events and “fetes.” The original site was built only for mobile and stretched awkwardly across larger screens like desktops and tablets. In addition, the full user flow was incomplete and not fully designed. My redesign focused on both branding and usability. I introduced a vibrant color palette by adding bright greens and blues to complement the original orange logo, creating a more energetic and festive look. Events are now better categorized, easier to browse by date, and tailored to customer preferences, resulting in a cleaner and more intuitive user flow.

Recognizing the importance of Carnival in the Caribbean and the influx of international visitors, I also added practical sections to support travelers. These include transportation directions and nearby hotel recommendations, helping guests plan their stay seamlessly in one place.Overall, the redesign makes the platform more exciting, user-friendly, and aligned with the cultural vibrancy of Caribbean events.

  • Process
I started by analyzing the existing website, noting both the strong elements and the areas that needed improvement. From there, I mapped out the full user flow to understand how visitors were navigating the platform. To make the redesign more user‑centered, I identified the target audience and created user profiles to represent the different types of people who would be using the site.

With this foundation, I compiled my research and began the redesign. I focused first on building a clear structure to ensure the flow felt seamless, then introduced the updated color palette and branding to bring energy and cohesion to the design. For the scope of this project, I concentrated on five key user flows, refining each one to be cleaner, more intuitive, and aligned with the needs of the audience.
