The Rights of Children
Branding, Packaging

  • About

The Rights of Children is a full rebrand of the NGO, The Canadian Coalition for the Rights of Children. I began by studying the organization’s original branding, along with its competitors, to evaluate what needed to be fixed or improved. I chose to incorporate more uplifting, bright imagery and vibrant colours, as I felt an NGO focused on children’s rights should visually reflect an understanding of kids and their world.

I also ensured that my designs for social media, banners, and other assets were scalable and easy to use, since NGOs often don’t have the time or resources to focus heavily on advertising. Below, you can view my full in‑depth brand guidelines and explanations on how to use the branding system.

This was a very fun experience, rebranding a well‑known NGO and bringing it to life with a comprehensive branding system. I hadn’t realized how many elements needed to be considered when designing something this extensive, and it became a real learning curve, but I enjoyed every part of it.
